What the heck is a risograph print?
A risograph print is kind of like if a photocopier and a screen-printing studio had a funky art baby. It’s made using a Riso machine, which prints one color at a time with super bright, soy-based inks. Because each color is printed separately, the paper can shift slightly as it passes through the machine. The result? Wonderfully imperfect prints full of character.
The ink layers are bold and vibrant, interacting in unexpected ways. Colors overlap, textures emerge, and slight misalignments create beautifully unpredictable effects. That’s the magic of Riso and exactly why we love it.
